Itinerary Golden Triangle - 7 Days/ 06 Nights

Delhi-Jaipur-Agra-Delhi

Day 1: Arrive in Delhi Meeting and assistance on arrival and transfer to hotel. (Rooms are booked from previous night to facilitate immediate check in)
After breakfast at hotel proceed for combined city tour of Old & New Delhi visiting Qutab minar, India gate (War memorial), Lakshminarayan temple a modern Hindu temple. Drive past President's house, Parliament house and Secretariat building. Also visit Raj ghat and Shanti vana the Cremation sites of Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru, Jama Masjid and drive past Red fort (Red fort is closed on every Monday) and Chandni chowk.

Overnight at hotel.

Day 2: Delhi – Jaipur 265 Kms, 05hrs
After breakfast at hotel morning depart by surface for Jaipur, on arrival check in at hotel. Evening visit local market by manual rickshaw. Overnight at hotel.

Day 3: In Jaipur
After breakfast at hotel morning half day excursion to Amber fort, the ancient capital of the state until 1728. Visit the Jagmandir or the hall of victory glittering with mirrors, Jai mahal and Temple of Kali.
Ascend on Elephant Back, the hill, on which the fort is situated. Proceed for half day city sightseeing tour visiting Maharaja's City Palace and the Observatory, drive past Hawa Mahal or the Palace of winds and through the Rose-pink residential and Business areas of Jaipur. Overnight at hotel.

Day 4: Jaipur – Agra 237 Kms, 05hrs
After breakfast at hotel drive to Agra en-route visiting Fatehpur sikri built by Emperor Akbar in 1569 and abandoned after 15 years due to scarcity of water. See the graceful buildings including Jama masjid, Tomb of Salim Chisti, Panch mahal and other Palaces. Evening free for independent activities.

On arrival check in at hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 5: In Agra
After breakfast at hotel morning half day city sightseeing tour visiting the world famous Taj Mahal built by Moghul Emperor Shahjahan in 1630 to enshrine the mortal remains of his Queen Mumtaz. Later visit the Agra fort containing the halls of private and public audience and other palaces. (Taj Mahal is closed on every Friday) Rest of the day free for independent activities.

Overnight at hotel.

After breakfast at hotel, late morning depart by surface for Delhi Airport via Sikandra for photo stop. On arrival at Delhi airport connect flight for onward destination.
